Cygnets is comprised of 2 settings located in the beautiful countyside of Wiltshire. Cygnets Westbury is an “outstanding” pre-school set in the grounds of Westbury Leigh Primary School in Westbury, Wiltshire, while Cygnets Bratton is a new setting which opened in early 2020 in close proximity to Bratton Primary School. We provide an interesting and stimulating learning environment for children in a purpose built building with free flow to a large and secure outdoor area. At Cygnets we offer places for children aged 18 months to 5 years, term time only from 7.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, offering child care places for both funded and chargeable hours. Whilst our Westbury setting is set in the grounds of Westbury Leigh CofE Primary and Our Bratton site is a stones throw away from Bratton Primary School, we happily support transition to all local primary settings including Bitham Brook Primary, Bratton Primary, Champmanslade CofE, Dilton Marsh CofE, Westbury Infants School. Please follow this link for a more detailed list. “Primary Schools” Our transition package supports our families with whichever Primary School they choose. With a dedicated, experienced and well established team we thrive on seeing children, learn, have fun and achieve their potential. We are experienced in caring and supporting children with additional needs, please see information on additional provision in the policy and our local offer sections of this site. We are committed to help all children grow in an environment that emphasizes, care, kindness and mutual respect.
Our philosophy is “Children’s play is their work” At Cygnets we promote learning through play by following the children’s interests and looking for teachable moments where we can extend and embed learning. If children are involved in making their own choices they become more independent and confident in their learning.

What is ITM planning?
