Qualifications - Level 1 Food & Hygiene, Safeguarding level 1 Level 3 relevant Early years qualification I joined the Cygnets team in 2022 in the office as admin assistant. I am a mum of four so always busy. I have always been around and worked with children and enjoy watching them thrive and learn.
I joined the Cygnet family January 2021, i previously worked in a setting for 5 years working with children 0-4 as a room leader for the last year of working there. I have always wanted to work with children, being surrounded by young children growing up only inspired me more to work within childcare.
I joined the Cygnets team in September 2020 starting at Westbury then moving to Bratton to become a key person. Growing up I always knew I wanted to work within childcare and have recently completed my foundation degree and I will now be completing my BA Hons. I love working with children and supporting them throughout their journey at preschool.
I joined Cygnets Bratton in 2021. I had previously worked in an office for many years but felt due to my calm nature and patience I fancied working in an early years setting. At Cygnets I enjoy watching the children learn through play and seeing each child child flourish in their own time. Outside of Cygnets I am Mum to our little boy who has autism. I love that we pride ourselves on being inclusive of all children. We are a family and are the children’s cheerleaders. Every success is celebrated however small or big. Naturally I am drawn to children with additional needs as through my own experience I have learnt effective ways of providing extra support required. I am so very lucky to be part of such a fun, happy and nurturing setting.
I first joined the Cygnets Team in 2020 as the cleaner. This then progressed to lunch assistant, then as a member of Bank staff. I came from a large family and really enjoy the company of small children, supporting and watching them develop and grow with my help with previous experience in lots of roles that involve nurturing and caring for children.
What I like best about being part of the cygnets team is how every single person on our team goes above and beyond for every single child, constantly trying to improve and coming up with new ideas to support them. I love that we work as a team always helping each other as and when needed. Cygnets is very much a group effort with everyone working together and helping each other at every opportunity therefore it is a very friendly work place
I developed a real interest in Early Years child development and education while raising my own 4 children, this turned into a fascinating and rewarding career, never a dull moment. I'm thrilled to be joining the Cygnets team and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of the children and families.
